Devlog - July 2023

After releasing the demo in June, which consists of the entire first chapter, I've kept working on the second chapter. All the content is already scripted and coded, and I'm also in the process of editing the third chapter's text before I put it in the game. In the second one, you will finally be able to solve that anagram, similar to how it worked in the first Demonheart.

In the meantime, the character artist, 6nii9, finished this amazing illustration of the main character with Kaisar (a very decent young gentleman...) ๐Ÿ˜ˆ

The game is available to pre-purchase here on itchio, and I'm planning to release the second chapter in August, when it will stop being called pre-purchase and become early access. ๐Ÿ˜‰

It also has a Steam page, so wishlist it there as well if you use Steam. I don't have a release date planned for the Steam early access - I'm waiting for it to accumulate some wishlists first, so we don't have a crash launch. ๐Ÿ˜…

Will the game be offered on other platforms like the others?

Making and updating games for other operating systems is really taking a lot of my time, and then one day they stop working and I have to drop everything I'm doing and update them again... There have been so many issues, I've literally cried and regretted publishing on those platforms. So until I finish more of the game content and any bugs are resolved on Windows, I'm putting it away. It will probably be available on Mac OS at least, since we got the signing working and figured some things out (with the help of my husband, because I would go insane from this alone.) But I don't want to make it official, because what if it doesn't work...
I'm waiting for the day when Windows games will just work on everything. =')

Yes, I understand a little bit, though I've never made a game. I have a Mac but one day I need to just get a gaming pc since most games are made for pc. Anyway, thanks for replying. I've enjoyed all the games in this series and the differences, especially the second game, which helped me venture out and play something other than the Sims and visual novel games. I appreciate your great work and will continue to support. Thank you!
